I handled two 16 Sterlies yesterday and each had 30" barrels, but the furniture on yours is three times as nice. What are the dimensions of yours?

I have a 16ga Fox Sterlingworth made in 1926 with 28" barrels. When I held it for the first time could not believe how nice it felt in my hands. I just got it back from having the stock refinished, and can't wait to try it out.
Have a case of RST 2.5" 7.5's for it.
Congrats, they point as nice as any shotgun I have ever held. |

I finally got a chance to shoot it for the first time yesterday.. Had a box of clay pigeons I wanted to shoot but unfortunately it rained all day so I shot it off the porch to my 25yrd target the barrels measure right to 26 inches and here's the results I got with some Rst 7.5's.. I taped the targets onto some cardboard afterwards to compare.

Im guessing the pattern will tighten up a bit when I pattern it again in better weather. It was off hand in a heavy crosswind shots. But I'm liking what I see so far |

Reno, the WOOD looks fantastic but near as I can tell, the furniture is just normal. |

Calling the trigger guard and forend metal "furniture" always seemed odd to me, but that's what it's called.
Nice Fox BTW. |

RST are quality loads and shot very good in most of my guns and A5 barrels . Haven't bought any in long time but the loads I did use, used the SG16 wads , 3/4 - 1 oz . I now load a short 1 oz load that shoot just as good . |

Dave, I couldn't agree more. But no stranger than a "bonnet" or a "boot". |
