| < 16ga. Ammunition & Reloading ~ can you re-load Herter hulls ? |

I have three cases of Herters 16 ga 1oz #8 dove and Quail (made in Italy).
bought them at Cabelas.
They are purple hulls and they have stars stamped on the brass between the 16's
Are they worth saving and re-loading (getting low on 16ga hulls) |

YES
The are the same as Cheddites.
Load them and if they crack, shoot them and then trash them or cut them to 2 1/2 and then reload again
