OK-just happened to be by WilliamLarkinMoore this pm (don't ask and the 2E LC is still there but with more drool ) and found:
A 4 wt brl 16 Sterly Ejector that weighed just over 6#-WOW
A pristine Utica 16 Sterly
A 2 trigger M-21 16
A pristine 20g Fulton
A nicely restocked 16 Iver Johnson Hercules (but weighed 7 1/2#)
Nice Iver Johnson Skeeters in 20 and .410 (the .410 with ejectors)
The 16g VH Parker is still there (still at $4900 ) along with my high shooting heart breaking Jezebel Sterly
480-951-8913 and tell David that Drew sent you (that might get me a .1% discount on my next purchase ) |

Rev,
Was that a Philly Sterlingworth? 28" barrels? Just curious; my SW 16ga ejector weighs right at 6-1/2 lbs.
Also, do you think the SW problem was a fit problem or a problem with the gun?

Fin-one of my least 'fruit of the Spirit' attributes is my unforgiving spirit and I'm still so mad at 16g Sterlys, I didn't even pay attention (but it sure did swing nice )
I've thought through the problem with my gun over and over and, especially since the LC shoots right where it should with the same sight picture and my head where it should be (NO COMMENTS NEEDED ), I have to think the brls are mis-regulated high (but both seem to shoot about the same place) OR when the chokes were opened (they started per the letter at M/F and are now .010/.020) they could have been opened from the front and mis-bored. |
