I have about twenty years of SSmag issues. Are they worth anything? I hate to put individual issues on Ebay. I would like to place these somewhere besides my bookshelf. |

Good luck selling them.
I ended up taking mine to my local gun club and left them for others to enjoy in the club house. |

You can't send magazines USPS Media Mail, so shipping costs will be an issue. Flat Rate Priority Mail boxes might be an option. In any case it seems like adding the cost of shipping to whatever the magazines are worth would make them pretty pricey. |

I recently took stacks of mags to the local recycle center--Anymore a disc is used to store the info from the previous issues. |

I take my old Shooting Sportsman and NRA American Hunter mags to the doctor and dentist offices. Heck of a lot better reading than old People Magazines. |

I am one of the "old people". What I find in doctors offices are mainly magazines for women, Newsweek, people.
You won't find anything with guns in them especially now, with the "Affordable Care Act" taking control of your minds and lives.
Remember, your Dr. is obligated to report any guns owned by you, and where they are stored.
Isn't it wonderful to have such a thoughtful gov't?

If you have any connection with someone in the military or a local veteran organization, that might be an outlet for donation....piecemeal or in a lump. |

Dale, I think what was meant was old "People" magazines, not old people magazines. Same words but a world of difference in meaning. LOL |

Canvasback, you may be right, but my point is no Dr. anymore who takes Obamacare patients, is going to have gun magazines in his waiting room.
That would be a BIG no-no

Dale, not arguing about that at all. Think you are correct and that it's a travesty. |

Maybe in your area, but around here(NCWa) doctors and dentists offices have several outdoor and gun related magazines available to patients. None of them have asked me or anyone I know any gun related questions. |

Are you enrolled in the "ACA", or are you a senior citizen? Makes a big difference, remember this is a Federal law, makes no difference what area I am in.

Dale, AmericanMeet's point isn't only about his personal medical status -- it's also that gun-related magazines haven't disappeared from the doctor's offices he visits. Wish I could say the same -- I haven't been to the doctor for a while, but haven't found those kinds of magazines in my clinic for as long as I can remember.

Wonderful, forget I said anything, far be it for me to be "politically incorrect".
