Most tables I see refer to a Remington SP plastic hull. Is this the same hull or interchangeable with these RGLs that I have?

Remington has previously used the SP designation on various products. I'd not assume SP stands for steel/plastic. Only Remington marketing knows what it stands for (or not ).
Here is a safer way. The base wad type tells you all you need to know. All Remington 16 gauge hulls which have plastic base wads and take 209 size primers are interchangable. The obsolete 16 gauge hulls with pressed fiber base wads take obsolete 57 sized primers and are not interchangable even within that type, because the fiber base wads vary in height (high base or low base). |
