I have the MEC Sizemaster for my 16 ga needs, and have been using 2-3/4" hulls(Fed, various Cheddite, and Fiocchi, with DR-16 and SG16 wads for 7/8 oz and 1 oz loads respectively)with less than satisfactory crimps compared to other gauges, especially 12 ga. When I need to purchase new hulls, will the Sizemaster work well with 2-1/2" hulls with just adjusting the crimping stations? I would think that with only 1/4" difference in height, it "should" be easy to compensate for the difference. |

MEC makes a 'Short Kit' that will take care of 2 1/2" hulls. It is easy to install and remove. It will make life a lot easier. |

Shortchanged? Seems like I use three pennies under the crimp stations of the MEC for my 2-1/2" conversion. It's cheaper! |

I thinks "Smell's like" would be more appropriate considering what a welding torch could do to a keister. |
