Anyone know of any Activ 16 or 20 ga wads and hulls available?
I've got a few 16 hulls but finding wads for reloading is about non existent.
Thanks |

My guess is info from this link/thread will help get those Activ 16 hulls back in the game. When shooting and reloading a lot of 20ga I found the Activ hull severely tapered inside. I assume the 16 is as tapered and you may need to find a 20ga wad that works for them. A further guess is that if data is scarce for the Activ 16 hulls using the data for Win CF hulls would put you in the ball park. I think a safe assumption because in a chart I have from oldhunter's tables has several recipes for the Activ G28 wad used in the Win CF hulls. Also, in the same tables there is recipes for Activ hulls using the WAA16 & Rem R16 (reduced volume SP16) Wads.

Best of luck with it. |

Gualandi wads (SG16) were the wads that were sold by Activ to go with their reloading data. |

Dogchaser is correct, activ used gulandi wads.
My experience with them included both gulandi and SP16 wads
They are not common now, but in their day were nice in that they had a lot of room |

I bought some from Rick awhile back, his prices were fair and the shipping was fast |
