Just got two cases of these shells coming in. Happy that I can try them out. Have always used whatever I could buy off the shelf. Most were pretty heavy loads and they were good ammo but your shoulder would pay a definite price. Pumps and Autos were fine but the doubles and o/u's just were too much for me. Here is to hoping they will be a pleasant surprise.

| I like the F2's for 16 gauge, they are a tad shorter than 2.75" and cycle in most all 16's. Reno |

Product Description: F2 Classic 16ga. 2 5/8 inch 1 1/16oz 1280 FPS.
The product description tells you all you need to know. They're hunting loads. They are fine for shooting a dozen or so over a full day of bird hunting. But 1-1/16 ounce loads @ 1280 FPS fired out of a light 16 ga gun is gonna rock your world if you shoot a lot of them in a short period of time for targets. I'd probably find a similar 12 ga trap load a bit much in an 8.5 to 9 pound 12 ga trap gun over a long session.
That's why so many of us like our mild mannered 3/4 and 7/8 ounce reloads for target shooting. They break clays very well w/o hammering our shoulders. |
