All I use are PW machines. I have always put the wad into the wad guide then with my left hand put the guide over the case mouth then as the ram pushes on the wad I help the guide down as the fingers enter the hull. When the wad bottoms out the guide popup and done. I have a 9000 as well and I did have to raise the ram a little as the DR is longer . Carefull adjustment of PW loaders has solved 99.9 percent of the troubles I have had with them. |

Sounds just like what I do. How open are the case mouths?

From Hodgd0n's site:
Cheddite 2 1/2", DR16, and cheddite primer:
International 15.3 gr, 5700 psi, 1100 fps
International 15.9 gr, 6200 psi, 1150 fps
International 16.6 gr, 6700 psi, 1200 fps
I have loaded up a case of these and shot a couple boxes at skeet, and seemed fine.
The crimps were a little more dished than my standard 7/8 oz load, but acceptable--didn't want to mess with my crimp adjustment.
Looks like just what you are looking for. |

Socks-
No data, but wanted to welcome you to one of the friendliest and informative sites of its kind. Been 25 years, but I remember the kindness of the people and the beauty of your state to this day- and slate roofs- even on the sheds!

Yes 1oz , Click on the link and then you can look up the loads you want , with a filler you can do 7/8oz if you want . But you will have to shoot a few to make sure they are not squib , but I suspect they would be fine . |
