My grand daughter Sarah loaded up some light 20 Ga. and shot a few pasture clays.
She had a great time loading and shooting. At first she was concerned about recoil and being hurt, but soon learned that her fears were groundless and shot well.
She also was able to enjoy shooting factory target loads.
We had a great time and are going to give it a go tomorrow.

We need far more of this, young ladies getting involved in shot gunning sports.
I hope she had a good time and will continue. |

I have had my granddaughter shoot some pasture clays as well. She prefers pistol shooting the best though. As long as she likes shooting it's all good. I gave her a Ruger Mark 3 that she really likes.
Regards, Gordon |

Way to go Sarah! Here's Grace Hadley with the Red Ryder; she got pretty good once she figured out she was trying to sight with the off eye! This was a while back; gonna try to get her on the 20ga this summer...
Granddaughters are awesome! |

Good for you, getting her into a great sport.
My grand daughter is only 2 1/2 but I think she will be a shooter in a few years. |

We just finished and Sarah shot 3 boxes of 20 Ga. and smashed targets. She outshot her 19 year old brother and her mother. I think she may be a natural.
