I hear 2nd hand Claybuster has a new 3/4 oz 16 G wad. Don't see it on Claybusters site. Is it true ?

They make a 3/4 oz wad in 12, 20, and 28. Haven't heard of any plans for a 16 gauge wad. I bought a case of their 7/8 and one ounce wads, but wonder of there is enough of a market for a 3/4 oz, to justify the start up costs.

I'd be surprised (pleasantly) if they offered a 3/4 oz wad, but hey, we'd find some good uses for one! Their 12 and 20 gauge 3/4 oz wads are winners.

Just got an email from Claybuster telling me there is no truth to the rumor.

Adding one .135" thick 28 gauge card wad to the bottom of the shot cup will convert the wad to 3/4 ounce easily enough.

The one ounce CB wad is converted to a 7/8 oz wad by adding a plastic bump to the bottom of the shot cup. Adding a filler card to the bottom also blocks out the space around the bump, which may or may not cause issues, with the dead space, but will create a much smaller space for shot. It may be smaller than you want.

Drop 3/4 oz in the 7/8 oz wad and add a thin overshot card on top of the shot. Works like a charm.
