The good news is I'm getting this tight-choked little Merkel opened up so I can actually eat what I knock down this year.
The bad news is you have to bear with another round of my patterning.
Happy Friday 16 gauge nuts. |

It won't be that much. I like those two loads and I'll just revisit an ounce of 7 shot in the open barrel. |

What are friends for if you can't bore the hell out of them, and expect them to consent to more of the same

Haha! You're a crusty one, Dale.
It's my passive/aggressive way of inflicting pain on my fellow man. |

So if the tight pattern resulted in too much meat damage, why didn't upi just get a lighter load, drop the 1oz for 1/2 oz & some cheerios, or just let the bird get out to about 30 yards before shooting? |

That would be too easy. |

Waiting for the bird to get out to 30 yards? Not possible for me anymore. At my age, my poor old mind would wander, and I'd forget what the hell I was supposed to be doing.
I've begun to leave the damned phone off the hook too. Folks keep calling and screwing up a perfectly good senior moment. |
