Philadelphia Sterlingworth which appears to be built in 1921 from the serial number. Barrels are 28", original finish and in excellent shape. Choked 0.18/.028. The action has double triggers, shows traces of blue and is mechanically excellent. The stock has been refinished and shows lots of handling marks and scratches but is very sound. 14 1/8 LOP, 1 3/4 DAC, 3 1/8 DAH. Will make an excellent field gun. I bought this from a gunsmith/stockmaker in Missoula and he assured me the gun is in great shape. I've always wanted a Fox but am having trouble with the double triggers. Can't teach an old dog new tricks! Priced to sell at $995 plus $40 to ship to your FFL. I can't post pictures here but have plenty to send, so email me at prubright@gmail.com. Thanks for looking. |
