Might I suggest reading right under the photo of the shotgun?

My apology, I failed to see the date stamp. I made a mistake.

Dale, I REALLY enjoy your SPUNK Smile
fn16ga, the Miller trigger was already on when I bought the gun, it works VERY WELL!!

Cowdock87, I just added the info on the previous posting so I would not pester so many folks.

I am REALLY starting to wonder if many others on this site dove hunts?
It has already been 8 days with a weekend and a holiday.

This 67 year old fart is really being challenged this year physically and especially from the weed pollen, I am taking a 12 mg Chlorpheniramine Maleate just to keep my eyes in my head. PLUS allergy shots. Today my shoes and socks turned YELLOW with pollen.

here in NY , doves have been on the recommended list for many yrs . Runor has been for decades that a certain fam group donates to DEC and that the trick is , to continue , they do not approve a season . I've seen them in fields in Jan with the snow howling and wished I could pop a few .

I offered you a real estate deal, which you rejected because "too many people here".
I did not offer you a spare bedroom! I am not that kind of guy. Shocked

Mike.
I like to consider myself an ardent dove hunter but this year has not been very productive. I got 1 on opening day in rural Baton Rouge, our normal spot for opening, which every other year has great opportunities. Apparently the flooding has affected the area more than we anticipated.

Our next go to spot was 2 acres of sunflowers on the Tangipahoa River. This is now 2 acres of beach following the floods that came through.

We are waiting for the WMA to open back up. It closes after opening day for a week. May have some luck there.

Of course, teal opens this Saturday so that could be the game changer.

Yep, others do love dove hunting.

Regards,
Chuck
