RST is the sole source I've discovered. They are out of stock, but will contact me when it's available. Are there other possibilities for purchase or do I need to have chambers lengthened on my Sterlingworth from 1929 which I'd rather avoid. California requires non-lead now for hunting, other than game farm / preserve venues.

Looks like 12 gauge only and only in 5 shot, so it won't help for those cute west coast quail, but Hill Rod & Gun sells short shotshells, including Kent Tungsten Matrix:
