Does anyone know where i could purchase a recoil pad for the Ithaca? I assume the 16 gauge has its own sized pad. Thank you. |

Galazan.
They have perfect reproductions in natural rubber, they even say Ithaca.
They come in two sizes, the smaller of the two will fit a 16ga M37 Ithaca after some very minor exterior dimension fitting. They come oversized on purpose. They look fantastic, and are worth every penny! |

I love those old "sunburst" pads. I just had one of the Galazan reproductions installed on a SXS. Its not an Ithaca but it looks great. It also has a nice soft feel to it. |

I searched for the Sunburst pad, pachmeyer, I can't find a part number. Does anyone have a source? |

The Ithaca Gun Co. "bridge trestle" pad was introduced in 1931/2 --
The pads used from the introduction to WW-II had "PAT. APPL'D FOR" below the logo --
The later pads, and the available reproductions have "PATENTED" below the logo.
In 1950 Ithaca Gun Co. changed to the aluminum base --
Then in 1963 they switched to this likely Pachmayr produced pad --
