Just wanted to pass along that I talked to my guy at Scheel's and he had spoke with Browning last week regarding the new Sweet Sixteen and was told the guns are "In Process" which means the guns are produced and sitting at Browning where they are being tested and check by the R&D staff. Once that department gives the green light they will begin shipping.

So, that is what I know. Hopefully we will see some of these soon. His feel was that a few will begin showing up then they will start shipping in mass to their destinations.

The November issue of Shotgun Sports magazine contains a review of the new Sweet 16 and the writer thinks very highly of the gun. He mentions that at one point he looked at the gun in his hands and say "where have you been all my life". Of course this review is no surprise for us dedicated 16ga fans but it may bring more people to enjoy the 16.

Anybody heard anymore on when they might start showing up? Doesn't look promising to be able to test one out on birds this year.

When I ordered mine, last February, from our local rep., he told me it would be mid-October. I sent him an email last week to see what the status was, and now I'm told it will be mid-December. Disappointing, to not have it for most of the season, but still am anxious to get it.

Well I guess there will be plenty of time to practice with it before the next bird season.
