| Danny, double click on that photo and look good at the trigger - I believe it is the same gold paint that is in the scroll engraving - done by a former owner to dress it up. OH |

| So the Remington made A5s did not use the same safety as the Belgium A5s? |

Remington switched from the original to a cross bolt safety in 1928. FN switched to a safety in the front of the trigger guard in 1904, then to the cross bolt safety in 1951.
The cross bolt requires a different trigger.
