I found an older but very nice 16 ga 870 at a local gun store. The barrel code letters are KDY. Can anyone help me identify the year of manufacture for this gun? Thanks. |

Thanks.Any idea what the Y means? Sometimes I see various letters and symbols on Remingtons and I wish I knew what they meant. |

If someone sends a gun to Remington for warranty work, modifications, etc., Remington stamps another letter after the manufacturing date code.
Have no idea what the extra letter stands for. |
