I have a Goose and Crain hunt scheduled for the weekend after Thanksgiving. I know that the crain populations are good but what about the goose flocks in the panhandle? We will be hunting around Plainview.

We had a great hunt. Not much on the goose front but we took 21 (7 limits) of Sand Hills and were finished shooting by 8:00 am. Only got 1 goose.

It is just hard for me to see the sandhill crane as a game bird.
