Sounds neat, Ed! I'm hoping to get a straight stock which will simply lop the pistol grip and be parallel to the bottom line of the stock. I'll ask to keep the grip robust and rechecker the lower panel to wrap all the way around the bottom. Shouldn't be a huge undertaking.

Some may like that type of grip on the stock of the new Sweets. As far as Dave's pic WTH was Browning thinking?

Gotta wait until a Jan 5th delivery date here in Canada Sad The shipment to my dealer is being processed now so that is the predicted date -- I was the first to order and have been promised 1st choice on wood and barrel length. Leaning to the 26" as my A5 duck gun is a 26 and I like it and shoot it well. Can't get an answer locally as to whether the sweet comes with shims? -- read somewhere on line that they do not but can be bought as an accessory?
Cheers, John

I measured the bore and choke tube constrictions on my SW16.

The bore measures .0667" (Black Belt's measures .0666 Yes, he's evil!)

IC .007
Mod .011
IM .026 (we bought these online)
Full too tight for my Skeet's bore gauge to enter!

I'm fine with the IC and it seems about right, and the Mod is acceptable, but what a span between Mod and Improved Mod! And the Full must be damned Full!

A patterning we will go.

Is the choke tube system compatible with invector chokes?

Mine will be out behind my beagles Saturday so if a bunny counts as a bird then add me to the list for firsts.

I'm waiting for mine. Told early 17. I wonder if old sweet stock could fit the new gun?

I likely will own one, but not in a hurry as I am done hunting for this fall/winter. However, I sure wish browning did not put that bowling ball varnish finish on their newer guns.

Nice looking guns. Mine actually came in December 2, 2016. I am trying to see if anyone was able to find extended choke tubes for the gun though. I looked around and didn't find any yet. I emailed browning and they said briley was making chokes for 16 gauge investor Ds but didn't see any. Any help will he appreciated.
