Anyone know when "Warning: Keep out of the Reach of Children" first appeared on Federal shotgun shell boxes?

If you are looking for an exact year, cant help. I have an old box of paper high powers that have no warning. I also have a box of high powers that is kind of a tan brown on the face with the diagonal stripes in black/ red. Has a flying mallard on the front too. I can only guess they are 60ish production. The warning is bottom left corner. The price tag says $3.60!

I don't know the date...
Around the time kids weren't raised, to keep their hands off grandpa's .22 behind the screen door....... And lawyers started beating up the gun manufacturers, instead of the parents.
Sorry... I know that's insensitive talk Embarassed
Just couldn't resist.

Early 60's and I'm thinking it was 1962.

The following is printed on the flap. I C56H 207S.

I called Federal Premium Ammunition. The person to whom I spoke told me that their shot shell lot records only go back to 1966, and that they had no record of the particular lot number printed on the box.

Road Rat posted the following on Shotgun World in response to my question.
http://shotgunworld.com/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=448280

Proposed by the FDA in 1961 and implemented in 1962.

Looking through old Remington catalogs, I first see the warning on pictures of the shotshell boxes in the 1962 catalog.
