I hope Texas is warmer when I get there. Leaving in 2 days. First stop in Tx. is Pali Duro Canyon. Don't know where we go from there. |

As upland bird season ends in MT on January 1, the winter blues don't start here until Jan 2nd. That's when the eight month wait begins for hunting September Blues in the high country. Also when advanced training begins for my 1.5 year old Grif girl, now that she has a full season under her belt.
Until then, three out of the next four days will be be spent busting tough snow chasing Grifs and pursuing ultra educated roosters - new Citori 16 in hand. |
