Yeah, yeah, I know; it's not a 16ga. On top of that, it's the dreaded 20ga! But I can't resist showing off my Christmas present (from me to me).
I've been casually looking for a 20 to keep my beloved 16ga A Grade company through these cold winter months; when this one surfaced I just couldn't walk away (and I did try !). Early Fox A Grade c. 1914, 26" barrels, snap on forearm, twin ivory beads. Great metal/barrels but the wood has a few issues; I plan to shoot it a couple times before sending it off to Mark Larson to work his magic.
Had planned to go this weekend and hoped to get it on some quail but complications arose; now shooting for next weekend which is the last of the season so I hope I make it! |

Pretty. Hope the wood issues are minimal.

Nice shotgun!
I know that "couldn't walk away" situation too well. |

I suppose I could allow one of those to stand behind the 16 ga. Fox in the cabinet as long as it wouldn't mind watching the 16 get picked most of the time. |
