Have a 1914 Sterlingworth, 28" barrels, double trigger, extractors, 2 1/2" heel, 1 3/4 comb, 14" LOP, no recoil pad, pistol grip, very little case left, barrels are not pitted with bright shiny bores, (2 and 9/16" chambers), ring with sustain, and retain nearly all of original blueing, one insignificant ding on left barrel about 2" from muzzle, single bead..........vertical area behind receiver (cheeks) has been checkered. Buttplate may be Fajen, buttstock may be Fajen.......am not working, this gun needs to find a good home........I am a klutz with computers, photos are going to be a problem,..... $1295 |

I have no confidence in a person who lists his username as ABCDEFGHI, I guess I am just old fashioned, where are you located? Why are you so evasive about info on yourself?
I don't require blood type, but more info sure would be comforting.

If you look at his profile of his 25 postings they have all been on the for sale part of the site, so he does have a selling history, just not part of the shooting side of the clan
Not working, he needs the money.

Mike, I didn't know that, thanks for the info, if all he wants to do is sell here, that is something I would take into consideration.

Didn't mean it to be mean, meant it sincerely, I actually doubt that he is honest, I was trying to protect any of our members from fraud.
If I am wrong, I will apologize.

When I tried setting myself up on this forum I could not come up with a name that wasn't taken.....I eventually tried names that couldn't possibly be taken and it showed the names were taken...This is no doubt due to my computer infancy. Finally, just to see what would happen, I typed in abcdefghi and it went through!!! If it makes you suspicious....just call me,"Alphy"......As far as work is concerned... I have not worked from about mid December to about mid March for the last 42 years....as a result, I have become acquainted with all sorts of interesting people in the process of selling things. I grew up shooting Fox doubles and I generally have an extra or two for the winter months.... Yet I still don't know how to make pictures go through wires.....jklmnopqr |

That's pretty funny, but the process makes a lot of sense. Abcdefghi is too much work, though. I'd have gone with qwertyuio. |

Glad you showed up to defend yourself! Good luck with the sale. There are plenty of nice guys here that can help with posting pictures. |
