Some of this has been presented before, but Dr 16g and I were investigating loads for our short chamber LCs and Sterly for KS in 2 wks:

Cabelas now carries Gamebore 16g 1 oz 6s which can be purchased at retail stores by the box for $9 Confused

they are 1260 fps and 8122 psi. These may be English 6s which are smaller than US 6s.

And this from the Bismuth folks (NOT 2 1/2" shells but low pressure)
Pressures for our UGL16 (1 oz,) bismuth loads are: 3.00 tons per sq. in (8,200 psi) These refused to go 'bang' in the L brl of my OOE LC Mad

The B&P F2 Classic 1 1/16 are 67mm but are NOT low pressure at 1280 fps and 9,867 psi but do come in 5s

I assume that the 1 oz bismuth would be considered low/moderate pressure - gives another duck gun option. Assume that 1 oz 4s bismuth would be the same?

Boyer got all the Bismuth-hopefully a report (if not a check Confused

) of some sort to follow. And yes, the response from the Bismuth folks was specifically about the 1 oz 4s but should apply to the other 1 oz loads.
BTW: I've still got an almost full box of B&P F2 Classic 5s that I'll bring out-you might try those in the Sissytori. Suppose to be real pheasant whackers Wink

Sounds good. Last year on the second day, Stuart looked at me as we were coming out of one field (after shooting a couple of roosters) and asked something to the effect of "got any wooly shells for that sissytori?" to which I replied I have some winchester super X magnum 5s and 4s in the truck. He said "come on then" and we went off to this new (to me) CRP field. When we got there I could see why we needed the "wooly" shells as the prairie grass was darn near over my head and the plum thickets tall and thick. We put down 6 dogs for three shooters and waded in - me with 16 ga and them with semi-auto 12s. About 75 yards in the dogs pushed out about 25 mixed birds in one flush and Stuart and I doubled and Clint shot one too. I could have used 6s and 5s as my birds were shot at 25 yards, but these were big, wild roosters in very thick cover. Not sure if we will go to this field this year or not....

I do have some of the 5s and 4s picked out already though Wink

Well Rev you are comming back to Kansas when an 1 1/8th ounce load is more appropriate. It's continued to be dry here and the birds are spooky as can be. Kansas City did get some nice snows but west of Manhattan there has been nothing.

Knowing your aversion to recoil I would recommend the RSTs for you in both 7/8th ounce and a couple of boxes of 1 ounce since you can mix I would go half and half between the 5s and 6s.
