There is a senior lifetime pass available which gets you into all national parks and national wildlife refuges. It's currently $10 if you buy it in person, or $20 if you buy it by mail order. However, it's going up to $80 soon (don't know when) so if you want one and don't have it you may want to get one. |

I recall my grandparents had one called something like Golden Eagle Pass. My parents had one called something similar. I have one called the Golden Access Passport, which I understand is no longer available; and now they have one as noted above. Seems like they change their mind on the names and terms of their season/lifetime passes more often than necessary. |

I was able to purchase one a couple of years ago at a USFS office in Sedona, AZ. The fella that sold it to me said that for old folks it's the best deal outside of Social Security! |
