He lists the weight at 10 lbs. That's not correct is it ? Just an estimated shipping weight I presume ?

The weight of the shotgun normally ranges between 6 lb. 8 oz. to 6 lb. 14 oz. The style of grip and fore-end will influence the weight. This shotgun will be leaning toward the heavier end.(JMHO) Even with that it is a very nice looking 16 ga..

What is a fair price for that gun? I'm out of the buying right now but would like to pick one up some day.

I have the same gun but 1 year older. I changed the grip to a straight-grip and had the beavertail worked down to a much slimmer semi-beavertail. Mine weighs right at 6 1/2 pounds. It had Briley steel/tungsten Thinwalls installed by the previous owner who is a friend of mine. It's shoots very well for me, and once I got everything dialed-in it ended any further searching for 16 gauge SxS's.

UncleDanFan did the wood work and welded on and fitted the long tang.

Dave you have awesome taste in guns, I have four Berettas, a SV10 III in 12, a 690 field III in 20, a BL-2 in 12, and a Charles Daly Empire imported Beretta sxs in 12. I like my Berettas a tad more than my Brownings.

I had an SV10 Perennia III and it was a great OU. Right now I have Beretta doubles and Browning autos. Like them all!

Just shy of 1900 bought it. Dude that bought it recently purchased a 16 ga bps. Must have some closet 16 ga lovers around!
