I do not understand the very high asking price either. The place to parade guns w/o intent to sell is on boards like this not on actual site that sells guns. For the price he is asking I suggest you buy nice new O/U. |

Yes, but IC and Vent ribs are getting VERY hard to find
Mike
P.S but if you can find one cheaper and have the barrel choke tubed
that would be an interesting modification. |

Ye Ha!
To say that finding a VR in IC is difficult, is, an understatement. I hunted (see that, a pun ) for-ever to find a barrel.
I'm rich, I say rich! wait a minute. I'm gonna keep my gun, so...
I'm broke but I have a "special" 1100, so, I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
seriously though, overpriced? maybe a wee bit. |

I looked at muzzle end of my 26" IC and there doesn't appear to be enough metal there to put choke tubes in. While the asking price is too high I can tell you that old Remington 1100s in top shape sell very quickly around here. Old Browning and Winchesters linger on in the used racks not so the Remingtons. I do not know why but that is how things are. |

PS. Be sure to check out new today deal from Jerry. Boxed, never used Browning Sweet Sixteen 28" Mod. VR for $4999. You not only get like new shotgun but also beautiful black Browning cardboard box wrapping paper, instruction manual,..... You can take advantage of 7 day inspection and no disappointment policies. Any takers? |

need to find the next Stan Baker , who invented expanding the muzzle enough to create space for a tube . |
