What does the lifting of the yesterday's federal ban on the use of lead mean to us old geezers using old geezer guns mean? Can we use lead on waterfowl now? I am sure some states will not allow it but Texas might. |

So glad you asked first. The lift was on a last minute Obama administration rule which would have made the use of lead projectiles and lead fishing tackle prohibited on federal lands in the near future. So it did not impact any nontoxic rules your currently use to. |

Short Answer: NO.
As noted above, the ruling is by the Trump administration in regard to an order entered by the Obama administration dealing with Federal Lands (as if the government owned the land rather than the people). All of the laws, regulations and international treaties regarding migratory birds remain in effect. |
