Not totally green! Hahaha

Occasionally I'll come across one with green gunk in the rear recess of the trigger or green discoloration on the trigger face. It always cleans of really easy, but I've always wondered what it was...I think now the gold gets worn slightly and then some discoloration occurs due to oil or moisture on the copper plating. Same thing happens if you leave Flux on a copper pipe overnight...

I really like my A5s. To me the best looking ones are the 3 SHOT MODEL, but alas mine is a solid rib version in 12 gauge from 1936. Do have a beautiful standard 16 ga from 1932, but think the 3 SHOT MODEL is a slimmer neater looking Browning. Like both better than my Sweet 16 from 61.

Couldn't agree more.

The 3 shot is an exceptional looking and handling gun.
