Shot pheasants yesterday with a pair of 16's yesterday this is a pic of my Auto 5 that I bought when I was 14 in 73. Shot a few with my Dog Cooper first then swithced to my sons Chessie and my Grade III Citori.

Well done pheasants ended here the end of January seems so long ago .I had A5 in 12 gauge with full choke barrel , great old gun but long gone I enjoyed shooting it though. Looks like a good day. WJ. |

The last bird of the season was memorable. Annie was able to stop the rooster below from running by heading him off, getting in front and holding the bird while she pointed.
I'm seeing lots of hens and roosters this spring and Annie and I are looking forward to a bountiful season.
