<  16ga. Guns  ~  model 12 & wood

Savage16 gave me a heads up on this model 12 16 ga awhile back. Purchased the wood from a member here. 7 or 8 coats of tung oil later & some elbow grease & 00 steel wool & it does't look too bad. The factory wood fits me better but the monty butt stock gives it a poi about 15" high at 30 yards. Can always fine tune it later if desired.
26" mod choke at 30 yds seemed pretty open patterned on the board.

A gun that shoots high like that is a rising bird gun perfect for the Woodcock on the rise as all that is needed to hit the bird is to point at it and shoot. I have two model 37ns that I set up to do that and it almost to easy.
