I picked up 2 sweets for my sons about a month ago. I was hoping to get them in time to give the boys for Christmas. I had also ordered one for myself. The shop only got 2, so, I was holding on to the hope that a third one would come in and we could all get our sweets together. Couldn't hold out any longer. My oldest son came home from college for the weekend and the Easter bunny got to deliver the goods. Went out and shot them in the back yard today with RGL, Rio and Herters shells. We put 150 rounds through each one, they functioned flawlessly with all loads. They handle like a dream. I normally shoot 3/4 oz. reloads, so off to the loading bench to see if I could load up something to cycle the action. After some test firing for function, I settled on 18.8 gr of Green Dot, DR wad in Cheddite hulls. Can't wait to try the reloads at the skeet and trap ranges. |
