Mike,
You bet I will probably order both before the season starts, hoping for a sale price on their 16 Gauge Bismuth 2 1/2" shells, prior to the season opening.

God's Speed and thanks again,
Pine Creek/Dave

RST is a small company and they do a run and then move on to another load. Many times a ga/load will sell out before they get back to loading it again. I don’t think you are going to see a sale, at least I never recall one. On occasion they will run out of a shot size or a particular hull. So if you see what you want now, don’t wait. You will not be disappointed with there shells.

Good Hunting,
Mike

Mike,
You give good advise and I appreciate it. With the cost of those shells per box it's nothing to sneeze at if you purchase a case. Your advise is sound however, probably will be no real discount on their 2 1/2" 16 Gauge Bismuth shells. I will differently need them for the gun Rich just worked on. Like to have them for my other pre 13 Elsie 16's and the J.P Sauer 16 also. Might pick up some 12 Gauge Bismuth for my Pigeon Grade, every once in a great while I shoot a few Ducks around one of the ponds up on the mountain.

God's Speed,
Pine Creek/Dave

Thanks for the advise.

sxs. Take her hunting this Fall. There must be some grouse waiting to die??

Love how the gun turned out! Mine needs some love too. Kent's makes a nice bismuth shell for your 12. I do love the rst shells. I don't know if nice shot makes a 2.5" shell or if Polywad does bismuth

67,
Have not seen any at this point, hope Poly starts making them however, the cost of the RST 2 1/2" 16 Gauge Bismuth shells is $65.00 for a single box of shells. A little competition to help drive the price down would be real nice.

67,
What are we talking about money wise, for a case of Bismuth 2 1/2" 16's?
If we do a bulk order.

If you guys can get a deal on a case that’s great. The point I was trying to make is you don’t order an entire flat of Bismuth. You order 2 or 3 boxes of Bismuth and the rest of the flat in lead. They will mix a flat however you want it. Bismuth mixed with other boxes of lead, some 7/8 oz some 1 oz, some paper some fibre, different boxes of shot size etc. That way a flat doesn’t send you to the poor house.

I already have too many flats of shells. But, thanks for thinking of me.

You can only shoot so many shells in a year. Right now I am good until I am at least 80.

However, I did just purchase a new 16 and I drove up to my Smith today to take a peek. It looks sweet.

Good Hunting,
Mike

WELL, you know that I am excessive/compulsive !! Smile

SOOOO, I made a deal last week and bought 20 flats of
shotshells at $30 dollars a flat. (12, 16 and 20 gauge)

Also bought 1400 rounds of M-1 carbine, 400 rounds of 45 ACP and 200 rounds of 30-06 Match ammo. for $152. You have to strike while the iron is HOT.

Now to shoot it all up.
No problem for the shotshells as I shoot eight boxes a week. So about 6 months.
The 45 ACP will last a month or so
the 30-06 for a year
and the Carbine ammo for a long time I suppose.

Today, at the skeet range, I shot an 1887 Winchester, and 2 1/2 inch French Side by Side and a Remington 3200 with 20 gauge barrels, What Fun!

I LOVE retirement

Mike
