Dave = I have a photo bucket account and have put the photos in it, but still can't figure out how to get them in a post here. Age, sometimes has it's benefits, but not in this case. |

flyline,
Follow the instructions Mike (skettx) has given you in your private mail, if you can not get them to work, I will post a step by step list of exactly how I post my pictures. I believe Mike and I use a slightly different method.

Flyline,
The pictures of Hemingway's home are everything I thought they would be, hope you do not mind but I am going to copy them and use them when I give talks at the HYP club and other sportsmen's clubs. I sometimes still due a few of these, for the NRA Speakers Bureau.
GREAT PICTURES!

A lot of good pictures and info from the Ketchum/Sun Valley years in Lloyd R. Arnold's book High on the Wild with Hemingway. |

No problem, Dave. Glad you enjoyed them. I'm hoping to return again someday to take some more, and possibly spend more time. All of the photos were taken through windows, as the public is not allowed inside. Apparently when the public was allowed in, certain items disappeared.....

Before we here in the United States found out about the true Fidel Castro, bless his heart, he was considered a heroic freedom fighter. So much so that one of the favorite Halloween costumes of the time was a Cuban "freedom fighter" outfit with fatigues, Ridgeway cover and fake beard.
We had embraced what we wanted him to be as did the Likes of Hemingway and Errol Flynn. |

Very true, I can remember as a young teenager, wanting to go join up with Fidel Castro!
He was a hero for awhile, until he started showing his true communist colors.
I remember when he and his bunch visited New York city, and were slaughtering and eating chickens in their hotel rooms.
