Hey guys, I started a Facebook page several years ago in support of this group. I have about 200 folks on the page now and several new members that are trying to get added to the forum and also purchase a membership. Can anyone advise as to the status of the group after Doug's passing? There is so much information they can glean from this group I know they would join. Any help appreciated |

Status? The group is healthy and self-policing.

Yes sir, bought an over and under that matches the double gun. Both are fine guns. I have really enjoyed them. I have a guy on the Face Book side who is trying to join, looking for load info for 16 ga 2 1/2". See below.
Edwin Quiñones-Señeriz Thanks for posting that. I'm one who submitted a registration earlier this week. My condolences to the owner's family and friends.
I really hated to hear of Doug's passing, he was a good man and a wonderful advocate for the "Gentlemen's Gun". |

It took a while for my request to be processed. The administrator has a life other than this and, being impatient, I reminded myself of this. Eventually, I was accepted. It also helped to remind myself that nothing I wanted to know was either life threatening or demanded an immediate answer. |

Yes, thanks guys - I do go through and add the new members every few weeks. Sometimes if I am busy with my regular job or family duties it might take me a little longer to get to it. I have to go through a lot of spammer requests to weed out the valid applications - so unfortunately its time consuming.
Given that we are now 13 years in since this forums inception - I figure there really isn't that much of a rush. |

I'm relatively new to collecting, shooting and hunting. I haven't shot my new-to-me 1930 Model 12 16 gauge yet, but hope to do so soon. Would like to try trap with it at a club I joined recently. Very glad to have found this forum. |

Thanks for all the welcomes, everyone.
And Mike, thanks for the offer to shoot together. I'm too far away, though, just south of Dallas. |

Welcome to the site Ed. This is a great forum with lots of knowledge, especially if you like to load your own recipes. Enjoy and post often.
