WOW, great day afield and absolutely beautiful carvings. I am 70 years old and introduced to grouse, WC 3 years year we got 1 WC, I connected on a shot, my first and only WC, neat little bird, no grouse. Two years ago, no birds for either of us, friend had a few shots, I had none. Thinking about going this year and would like to take my Lab which quarters and hunts within 15/20 yards, what do you think. And by the way if the carvings are for sale I would love to purchase one. |

Nothing wrong with Grouse and Woodcock hunting with a nice lab as long as he is well trained. Lots of men here in our mountains hunt with them. If your Lab split points before flushing even better.
