Hi There,

I own a Husqvarna Mod 48 Engraved 16ga Hammer Gun SxS and I'm looking to replace the left size firing pin and spring. I took photos of the measures of the original one on the right size, it's weak and want to replace both, also the left size one is not the original screw "nipple", firing pin and spring and I want to see if I can find one that can work better. Can you guys guide me where to locate them?

Thanks Smile

Beautiful gun. Unlikely you'll find drop in parts. Probably going to have to have a real gunsmith make new parts.

As long as they prevent your firing pins from sticking out the breech face they're okay. Mark Beesland at Mark's Born Again Bird Guns knows a lot about Husky hammer guns.

Otherwise Numrich Arms.

My advice is to buy a cheap parts gun. They can be had for around $100-200. I just bought a mod. 103A parts gun for my 103C so I could swap stocks, and I ended up with a much nicer stock, an extra barrel set with different chokes after I did some fitting, and extra hammers, firing pins, springs, etc. There are two different kind of firing pins and collars that most husky's have too. The kind you have are fairly shallow, while others are pretty deep. I have a bunch of Husky hammer guns and work on them constantly. Great guns.
