Since obtaining my new Sweet 16 earlier this year I have been fortunate to take my first 16 gauge turkey, lots of dove on Sept. 1 & 2, and this past weekend my first 16 gauge sage grouse. I'm an O&U fan, with 525, 525 sporting, etc., but had to try the A5 out when they introduced it, and so far no complaints.

I could not go with two friends who had a permit to go up into the steens mts for sage grouse. All they found were feathers. I should of given them one of my 16 gauges for better luck.

I really like those new 16 gauge A5’s. But, since I already have 3 of the originals it’ll be a while before I have one of the new ones. Maybe some day I can find a used one somewhere. Nice pics, Happy shooting! |
