Great photos, it is quite evident though, that the 12 ga is still popular among our members. Wink

Took the Settany out today Ruff hunting. Shot one with the 1941 rem model 11 just
purchased yesterday. Hard telling when that gun last killed a grouse. The Settany had the bird pinned down tight. It was fun reblooding an old gun. Had to put the camera battery in my shirt pocket to warm it enough for it to power up the P&S camera. Only about 17* F this AM. Grouse was a juvenile russet phase.

Hey all, myself and my hunting partners (my kids) went out for our annual Thanksgiving Day hunt. We just hunt for a couple hours (to keep the wife happy!), so we go around the home place. The weather today was wonderful, 63 temp, low winds and a sunny sky. Saw quite a few birds, but today they were really spooky, wouldn't hold a point, but Will and Jim each got one for the ones that did hold. Wonderful time with my kids, I'm darn lucky!

Here's Jim, Teresa and Will and of course Raina

Happy Thanksgiving all!

Hey Gil

Last woodcock of the season here in Pa. Still seeing lots of big females so the flights must be late this year.
