I only have one Standard 16 right now and it weighs 7 lb 4 oz. The prevailing wisdom is that the Sweet 16 weighs 10 oz less.
For waterfowl and clay targets I prefer shooting my Standard 16. Unless it was going to be a marathon day I'd probably also use it for late season pheasants.
