My FAIR Rizzini 600 with double triggers is a little heavier than I would like, at 6 3/4 lbs., but that does help with the recoil when shooting heavier pheassnt loads.
I have it with me now as I am on my way to Kansas pheasant/quail hunting.

3virddogs, Where are you going in Kansas? I'm thinking of a trip later this year.

I don't get why it is so critical to have a 16 under 6 lbs. If you need a gun that light, why get a 16 at all? A 28GA Benelli Ultralight or similar is a more logical choice.

Studdog, am in NW Kansas in Hill City. 10 degrees today with 20mph N winds--brutal.
Car ried the Rizzini today and had safety problems in the cold. Had 70 birds get up out of range as we approached a shelterbelt, and moved a couple coveys of quail. Supposed to be even colder tomorrow, but wind to die down. Will carry either a Parker or Ithaca 4E 16 tomorrow.
Hard to find a 16 under 6lbs, but I have several at 6lbs or a few ounces heavier.

3birddogs, Great your still at it! Do you know any of the Pheasant hunting outfitters in Kansas. We're thinking of a early December hunt. Still searching for a lightweight 16 O/U. Yhanks, George
