as many know, im having an any gun any ga open fun shoot for anyone willing to join in, in oct and apr. every year.

but, there is more than just one weekend in apr and oct.

anyone here want to knock heads and gin up an interest in meeting at my place to have a real 16ga only event? just say the word and canvas your buddies for feedback and let me know.

lets pick a weekend that doesnt effect the most as far as hunting and holidays.

be glad to put something together for everyone.

I’d be interested in one in the Colorado Springs or Denver area. Moving to the former this May.

DF, by "in MO" I think he's referring to his place in Missouri.
Bobski, That's kind of you to offer. April would be hard, maybe when I'm retired. October would be a no as that's prime grouse and pheasant and woodcock time here. Thanks for offering it up though.

i commute between mo, va and conn caring for aging parents. they take priority in scheduling as you most likely can assume.
keep looking for others! thanks.

Yup, I understand.
Am moving to Colorado Springs in six weeks and was hoping there might be some 16 ga guys there and a shoot could be organized.

When I retire to NE, whenever you want to hold a 16 ga. shoot just let me know. I will be there.

Would be easier for me to hit this than St Paul now that I’m in Kentucky. April is turkey season so I’d rather see October. Where in Mo?

I would go for that in April, October I'll be out west chasing after my two renegade GSP's. I'm a fellow Missourian (rural Neosho) and retired Navy light attack pilot. Flew A-4's in Vietnam off the Hancock and Bonnie Dick (Bonne Homme Richard), A-7's for my subsequent tours and a little flight time in a bunch of other planes. Be fun to buy you dinner and talk about the old days (1958 to 1991).

if we cant get 10 from 16ga.com, i will augment with others from other sites. it always seems to work out.
i flew MT1X's with the seals.
i was a green shirt rigger in VF2 and VA94 shrikes. 8 years on and off enterprise. cag11 and cag14.
only a4's around mirimar mid 70's was with vc7 target pullers and of course the blues.' i was back seat qualed for s3/a4/a7.
got some great old pics in the clubhouse. hope you can make it.
go to my website and see some old pics of my tours.
we go to club60 on sat night for a toast/roast dinner. we remind everyone of the best shooter and worst. (classic o'club stuff.)
