The weather forecast changes around here a couple times a day. The weather people on the Joplin TV stations seldom get it right. Rolling Eyes

we had a good time at the shoot this weekend even fighting the cold wind that caused some very challenging targets! The trapshooting was wild with targets on Friday shooting sky high and then falling back closer to us. My Downrange wads were being blown back past where we were standing!
Skeet targets were not immune from the wind either! The high house targets were diving quickly and the low house were often climbing into the wind enough that unbroken targets landed back near station eight!
But we all had fun visiting and meeting the challenge presented and look forward to our gathering in October! Very Happy

I'm going to locate it Thursday when I come back to west Plains to pick up my new(to me) LC Smith. After looking it up on mapquest I found that I was too far east using the business route instead of old 60 Confused

By the way, I forgot to mention that we had a father bring his son, Brian, out to the shoot and Bobski spent a good bit of time teaching a new shooter who had a blast and was awarded third place at his first ever shoot!
Besides the trophy that he was given the fist place winner even offered him the choice of prizes from his package!
We all enjoyed having the young man and his father at the shoot and I bet he had some stories to tell at school today!

brian was a pleasure to teach.
he made it all the way back to the 50yd line and was the only one left to go against the club champ. he beat everyone else in the shoot off...and came in 2nd place for the 50yd match.....with a 20ga!
