Weeeeell then, a 16 gauge he shall likely acquire. He has found the right "support group". |

Sorry, I thought I had replied to this bobski. Thanks for the invite. Yes I am interested in a 16 for a few reasons. They're not run of the mill, yep I like special and different. Were very popular in the 50's, yep I was among the sons and daughters of WWII GI's, the regular folk who were anything but regular. My esteem and longing grows for that generation more and more. Where the heck is that time machine when you need one ? Two more reasons for a 16 are less weight, and finally for now I'll say " just because I want one."
I know I'll be getting my first 16 soon as I've already bought some 16 wads. I certainly don't wish to waste any wads, so a 16 is in order, nest pas? |

Oh the time machines are out there. They carry names like Lefever, Fox, Parker, L.C. Smith, Baker, Ithaca; guns that were made long ago and cherished by the WWII generation. To activate one, drive out into the country where few if any people live, remove it from the case, and follow your dog over the hill without looking back. |

RRII,
Welcome to the 16 forum, got to warn you right up front that fine double guns are seriously addictive, especially fine 16 gauge Classic American double Guns.
