Thanks Dave! It's one of my few doubles that fits me like a glove. Love the lop on the greener! It's choked tight and mo tighter |

Rick O,
Now that was a heck of a plan, I find God does all the planning and we are just along for the ride.
Long before the new SpredR shells came on the market, I shot a Scotch true double, with one of my L.C. Smith 16's, my best friend was Grouse hunting with me at the time, he took a couple nice birds that day also. He warned me at the time, to say little about the Grouse Scotch double, that nobody was going to ever believe it happened anyway. I find if I spend enough time in God's big forest, he has a tendency to reward me in unexpected ways.
Having a great Grouse Dog always helps also!

AMEN to that!
..I had another Scorch Triple once, on Gambel Quail, but it was with a 28 ga 870.
I was walking a canal levee and I shot a quail that flushed from the brush and across the levee toward the canal.... As I walked to pick up the bird I was looking at, I picked up two more very dead quail that I had never seen but had obviously chosen a poor time to flush and must have flown into my 3/4 oz of Federal 8's pattern!
Good Luck!
