I have one on order thru my dealer. Saw one at Scheells in MN. Worst wood I can remember seeing on new gun. Just horrible. If mine comes in like that I won't accept it. I'm not expecting five star wood on an inexpensive gun but butt ugly no way. Just my opinion. |

A couple of my best shooting guns have very plain wood. Such is life. When the targets break and the birds fall they look pretty good to me. Just the same I hope you get a stock you like, George. |

Thanks Dave it was great to meet you at the shoot. We'll see about the wood. I have seen some that at OK. I don't expect Five star wood on a one star gun. |

Straight plain grain wood might might be a blessing on a gun of this weight. I have an instinct SL in twenty, and it has decent enough wood, nothing to get excites about. At this price point, hard to be too critical on the wood grade. |
