so I went to the trap range, first time out since Feb, I was shooting at the no 2 trap by my self and 3 older experienced guys with some nice expensive 0/u were shooting for league score next to me, one shot 25/25, another shot 21/25, I also shot 21/25, so they sat down under a shade tree and I joined them, one said nice shooting, so they had been watching me, then one asked 28 in barrels?, yes, then we enjoyed the day and I said its a Marlin, wow, none had heard of a o/u marlin and asked how old? I said 1939, oooooh thats why they did not know they existed, sat and enjoyed the day, then I said btw its a 16ga, and one said aha, we thought it was a 20ga, but did not sound right, we were arguing about it, then they all wanted to check it out. made my day.

Kennedy756,

Very nice old guns sir, glad you shoot so well with the old Marlin. Next they will be asking to shoot her!

Have too look a fur piece to find an affordable , or for that manner unaffordable shotgun that has balance and point ability equal to the Ole

Marlin 90 .

Picking up a lot of sxs's right now , BUT it's hard not to love one of the most perfect affordable shotguns ever built.
