Well it was a sad day to see her go, but I'm much happier with her replacement. I've been impressed with the Rizzini Round Body 20's for quite a while, but could never justify the cost compared to the amount of shooting I do. BUT when the gun you've been watching for a while has a crazy sale price put on it, the decision is clear. So with my mint White Lightning 16 used as a partial trade, a deal was struck and I finally own my Round Body.
To be honest, the constant search for target suitable 16g shells was wearing thin on me. And this Rizzini is my perfect gun, 20g with 29"bbls, a do it all clay and bird gun. and it's gorgeous! Not to mention 20g shells are easily available around here. Loved my Citori but she had to go, although I still have my A5 Sweet so guess I can still visit this site ;) |

Pity to see your loss of heart.
Your 20 is a lovely gun. I hope one day you will be a primary 16ga guy again. |

Beautiful shotgun, Buckmark. No shame in a 20 or any other gauge. I'm quite partial to 12's. |

No hate for 20's here; I own a couple myself ! The sixteen is still my preferred hunting gauge, but it's a 12 on the trap range and if I ever get into skeet it'll be a 20.
My only complaint is with your gun is that the barrels are turned the wrong way and it's missing a trigger ; other than that she's a beauty! Shoot her well and enjoy! |

I saw a round body Rizinni 20 ga, 28” in cabelas gun library just now. Gorgeous. Believe it was $4500 if some one is interested.
That was in Lone Tree Colorado, between Denver and Colorado Springs. |

The more i look this gun over, the more impressed i am.
And im almost embarrassed to say what i paid, but the dealer was closing out his Rizzini inventory and i got this one for 3600Can plus no tax and free shipping. That works out 2736US at the current exchange rate. I will never come across a deal like that again, im a happy boy. For those wondering, reg price was 4800, and Ontario has .13% tax so that would have added another $624. Yes, id say i got a steal of a deal! |

For those interested, he has some very nice 28g Round Body’s left at similar savings, and he is a highly reliable Importer/Exporter of firearms to and from the US, ive used him myself to import shotguns in the past. Very reasonable prices to do so. Called Prophet River Firearms, take a peek. |

Thanks for the tip. No need of a different gun myself, Canadian, or, otherwise, quite the opposite, actually, but, always good to know.
Enjoy the new gun.
Best,
Ted |
